The U.S. Air Force says fighter jets controlled by artificial intelligence have engaged in an aerial “dog fight” with human pilots
In September 2023, the U.S. Air Force achieved its first breakthrough in the world. They successfully used a modified F-16 fighter jet (X-62) to engage in an air confrontation with a manned F-16 fighter jet.
During the test, defensive, offensive, and high-speed frontal confrontation were carried out in turn at a flight speed of 1,200 miles per hour and a distance of only 2,000 feet.
No training rules were violated in this test battle.
