Meta’s Quest 3 headset is about to usher in a new application called Layout, which allows users to measure space, visualize furniture placement, and even adjust picture levels. The app is part of a v68 update that allows users to virtually place objects such as televisions to see if they fit.
The update also includes an experimental AI assistant (currently limited to English-speaking users in the United States and Canada) that can answer questions about real-world objects. Other features include multi-game downloads, in-headset controller pairing and audio balance tools.
