| 【Pharmacological Effects】 | Triamcinolone acetonide is a derivative of triamcinolone acetonide, which is a potent glucocorticoid for topical use. It has a significant anti-allergic effect and can significantly reduce the nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis, thereby achieving preventive and therapeutic effects. Toxicology studies: Reproductive toxicity: Oral administration of triamcinolone acetonide at a dose of 15*g/kg (calculated as above, equivalent to 1/2 of the maximum recommended daily dose for adult nasal administration) in female and male rats had no effect on pregnancy rate. When the dose was equal to or greater than 5*g/kg (calculated above, equivalent to 1/5 of the maximum recommended daily dose for adult nasal administration), the number of fetuses and stillbirths increased, and the weight and survival rate of mice decreased. The above reactions were not observed at a dose of 1*g/kg (calculated as above, equivalent to 1/30 of the maximum recommended daily dose for nasal administration in adults). Triamcinolone acetonide spray inhalation and administration showed teratogenic effects on rats, rabbits and monkeys. The teratogenic doses for the above animals are 20*g/kg for rats, 20*g/kg for rabbits, and 500*g/kg for monkeys (the same calculation is equivalent to 7/10, 2, and 37 times the maximum recommended daily dose for adult nasal administration, respectively), and the dose-dependent teratogenicity shown by rats and rabbits is expressed as cleft palate, hydrocephalus and axis When the potential benefits outweigh the potential harms, this product can only be used during pregnancy. Carcinogenicity: Rats did not show carcinogenicity when oral triamcinolone acetonide dose reached 1*g/kg for 2 consecutive years (calculated as above, equivalent to 1/30 and 1/50 of the maximum recommended daily dose for adult and pediatric nasal administration, respectively), and rats received oral triamcinolone acetonide at a dose of 3*g/kg for 2 consecutive years (calculated as above, equivalent to 1/12 and 1/30 of the maximum recommended daily dose for adult and pediatric administration, respectively). |
