Introducing AI video editing and third-party Sora and other AI video models
Adobe Premiere Pro will launch third-party AI models later this year, allowing editors to choose the model that best suits their material and generate and edit it directly in the software.
These AI models include OpenAI’s Sora model, Runway AI and Pika’s video model.
At the same time, Adobe Premiere Pro has introduced the Adobe Firefly video model. Users can use AI tools to perform a series of functions such as object removal, addition, expansion of videos, transcription of videos, automatic color, enhanced voice, and scene editing.
Premiere Pro brings a series of new generative AI features. Soon, you will be able to seamlessly add frames, make clips longer, and add or delete objects in the background of the shot.

Easily add frames and make clips longer for perfect editing. Click and drag to extend the clip to the appropriate length, add transitions, add J and L cuts, and adjust the rhythm your way. You can even expand the “mute” portion of the audio to create an environmental “room tone” to smooth audio editing.
