Method 1:
This squeaking sound of opening and closing the door comes from the door shaft. This sound is caused because the original lubricating oil in the door shaft is exhausted during the long-term process of opening and closing the door. If you pay a little attention, you will also find that opening and closing the door is not as smooth and slippery as before. To eliminate this sound, just add a little lubricant to the door shaft.
Lubricating oil can be used with clean engine oil for cars or motorcycles, or gear oil for car transmission. Use a large needle tube (medical syringe), inhale 2 ml of engine oil, and add a little oil into the hinge gap of the door shaft. The amount must be small, otherwise, the oil flowing out will contaminate the door and door frame, and even damage the paint layer. Except for the lowest gap on a single door shaft, all other gaps must be filled with a little oil. All door shafts are treated as above, and this door feels the same as the newly installed door, or even better.
Method 2:
This summer, the aluminum alloy door in our bathroom felt that the resistance to pushing was getting greater and greater, and sometimes it creaked. I made some engine oil and clicked it into the gap between the door shaft, but the effect was not obvious. Later, I tried to search for “door sound” on PDD, and actually found the product. I have to say that PDD is omnipotent! I sprayed a few times in the gap of the shaft. The effect was very obvious on the second day, and the rotation was smoother on the third day. It is estimated that it will take some time for penetration. This product is called “anti-rust lubricant”. I guess it’s not just the brand I chose, but similar products may also have the same effect.
