Google upgrades Bard Google Maps and Imagen-2

Google upgrades Bard Google Maps and Imagen-2, Amazon launches artificial intelligence shopping assistant “Rufus”

In addition, Amazon, Sam Altman, Georgia Institute of Technology, Meta, Arc, and Anthropic have made tremendous progress in artificial intelligence.

The first product of Google’s artificial intelligence upgrade is Gemini Pro, which now runs on Bard.
This is a significant improvement over the previous LaMDA and PaLM models.
This means that Bard now has upgraded understanding, summarization, reasoning, and coding capabilities.

Conversational search is coming to Google Maps soon.
New artificial intelligence results provide detailed information to help users discover new locations.
The debate ends here. Google Maps > Apple Maps.

Bard can now also generate images using Google’s Imagen 2 model.
Users can now prompt images to Bard via conversation, similar to ChatGPT/DALL-E 3.
Google has been rapidly upgrading the Bard recently, and I think the appearance of Gemini Ultra will make it even crazier before long 👀

Amazon has launched “Rufus”, an artificial intelligence shopping assistant that can answer shopping questions, recommend products and compare items.
It is being tested on Amazon’s mobile app for a small number of US customers and will be rolled out in batches in the US in the coming weeks.
