It is now free to use GPT-4 Turbo.
This means you no longer need ChatGPT Plus to use the latest OpenAI models.

Step 1 Check access rights
GPT-4 Turbo appears to be gradually being launched.
To check if you have access, follow these simple steps:
- go tohttp://copilot.microsoft.com
- Press Ctrl + U (Cmd + U) to display the page code
- Press Ctrl + F and enter “gpt4t”.
If you see the GPT-4 Turbo mentioned, you can access it.
Note: This is not an “official” method, but it appears to be reliable.
2. Response time
In addition to other improvements, the GPT-4 Turbo also features faster response times.
Therefore, all your interactions with Copilot will be smoother.
3. Knowledge cutoff
GPT-4 Turbo contains data up to April 2023, while GPT-4 contains data up to September 2021.
Even if Copilot is connected to the internet, it is still very useful if the search function is disabled in the plugin.
