ASHA compatible hearing aids

In addition to the MFA of the Sonova app, other brands use ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) to connect with Android devices, which is jointly developed by GN (Great North Hearing Group, the parent company of AAC), Cochlear (Cochlear) and Google (Google), and is a technical specification specially designed for hearing aids to connect with Android devices. Phone calls and other audio streams from Android devices are transmitted directly to the hearing aid device.

The minimum requirements for Android devices are: Android 10 and Bluetooth 5.0.
