Amazon is training a large LLM codenamed “Olympus”,

to compete with OpenAI.

Olympus reportedly has 2 trillion parameters (2000B), which could make it one of the largest AI models in the world (GPT-4 = 1 trillion). It may be launched in December this year.

Amazon intends to connect it to e-commerce, Alexa voice assistant, etc
