Lightweight macOS window management tool


A macOS window management tool that enables windows to quickly dock and automatically hide through shortcut keys or mouse operations, allowing users to switch between multiple tasks more efficiently.
The software supports functions such as customized shortcuts, adjusting docking area parameters, and self-booting. The interface is compatible with Mac screens with bangs and is suitable for writing, programming, and design.

Project introduction


Dockit provides the following core functions:

Quick docking: Fix the window to the left or right side of the screen with one click for easy multitasking.
Smart display: The window automatically expands when the mouse hovers over, and automatically folds when it moves away, keeping the desktop clean.
Shortkey support: Users can customize shortcut keys to quickly invoke window operations.
Flexible configuration: Parameters such as window exposure width and trigger area can be adjusted to meet individual needs.
Automatic start: Supports self-start after booting, eliminating the need to manually start.
Exquisite notifications: Operation feedback is presented through system notifications to improve user experience.
The project was created by developer XiCheng148, written using Swift, and follows the MIT open source protocol.

Installation method


Dockit provides an installation package for Apple Silicon that works with macOS 13.5 and above.
