Introduction:
MimicBrush is a new zero-sample image editing technology jointly launched by a research team from Alibaba and the University of Hong Kong. It allows users to redraw local original images by uploading reference pictures. Users only need to specify the area to be edited and provide a reference picture, and MimicBrush can automatically understand and imitate the style of the reference picture to complete the editing task.
In the past, if you wanted to make modifications to an image, you usually needed to use various advanced tools, such as various messy layers and scribbling, or accurately selecting the areas to be modified, which was too troublesome. But with MimicBrush, everything becomes super simple. As long as you provide a reference picture, it will automatically find the part you want to modify, and then “copy” the reference picture to your original picture. For example, if you want to exchange the soles of one pair of shoes for another, or change one person’s hairstyle for another person’s, it can be easily done.
