Use an ITIN to upgrade your US PayPal and activate PayPal’s premium features:
- PayPal Cash Plus account
- PayPal Credit
- The PayPal Cash Card cannot be activated with an ITIN and is for collection only
- PayPal Prepaid Mastercard cannot be activated with an ITIN and is for collection only
PayPal Cash Plus account, starting from April 1, 2019, you must activate this account to keep your PayPal balance, use your PayPal balance to make payments, and receive PayPal transfers from others, otherwise the money paid to you by others cannot be deposited into the balance, and you can only bind your US bank account (Checking or Savings) to withdraw money directly. The PayPal Cash Plus account after activation looks like this:
PayPal Credit: Similar to the domestic Alipay Huabei and JD Baitiao, a $2,000 quota was given after uploading a scanned copy of the ITIN.
PayPal Cash Card: A US Mastercard debit card tied to your PayPal, which is also good for overseas shopping. Since it cannot be activated with an ITIN, it is for collection only.
PayPal Prepaid Mastercard, URL: paypal-prepaid.com, requires the use of an overseas IP to open, there are four card faces to choose from, and you can get a Checking bank account number. Since it cannot be activated with an ITIN, it is for collection only.
